Remington Buyer

Remington Buyer is a Water Rights Specialist at J.R. Simplot Company as of April 2024, previously serving as Strategic Water Resources Manager for the City of Boise where significant contributions were made to water quality and geothermal energy initiatives. Prior experience includes a Project Manager role at the Idaho Department of Water Resources overseeing water projects, and a Coordinator position for the Water Supply Bank at Building A Greener Idaho while also hosting a sustainability-focused radio show. Buyer has advocated for sustainable building practices as Program Manager with the United States Green Building Council, and held various roles in community planning and resource management, including at Boise State University and COMPASS. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Community and Regional Planning from Boise State University, and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of British Columbia.
