Ryck Tanner

Ryck Tanner is an experienced leader in learning and development, currently serving as the Director of Leadership and Development at J.R. Simplot Company since November 2011. In this role, Ryck Tanner focuses on global learning strategy and alignment with HR and business objectives, and oversees the definition and maintenance of a leadership capability framework. Prior to this position, Ryck Tanner held roles at SUPERVALU from June 2002 to November 2011, including Manager of Learning and Development and Manager of HR Technology Shared Services, where responsibilities included analyzing training needs and developing eLearning courseware. Earlier experience as a Strategic Consultant at SumTotal Systems involved collaborating with organizations to define learning strategies and enhance their use of technology in education. Ryck Tanner holds a Master's degree in Instructional Design from Utah State University.
