Samuel Gebremedhn, Ph.D., currently serves as a Research Scientist at J.R. Simplot Company since January 2024. Prior to this role, Samuel held the position of IVF Research Scientist at Genus PLC from June 2021 to December 2023, and worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Colorado State University between December 2019 and June 2021, overseeing projects related to extracellular vesicles in bovine reproduction. Samuel's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Animal Sciences with a focus on Reproductive Biology from The University of Bonn, as well as a Master’s degree in Animal Sciences from Wageningen University & Research, and a Bachelor of Science in Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. Samuel also completed a College Diploma in Agriculture at Ambo College of Agriculture.
