Sydney Pruett

Sydney Pruett is a Project Engineer at J.R. Simplot Company, working with the Technical Engineering Team for the Global Food Group to design and commission new equipment and facilities. Prior experience includes serving as Project Engineer - Mechanical at Amalgamated Sugar Company, where Sydney provided project management and engineering support for new projects and upgrades, and held the position of Mechanical Engineer at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Sydney's early career involved roles such as Supervisor at Boise State University Phonathon, Learning Assistant, Mechanical Engineering Intern at Black Sage and Frigel North America, Computer Aided Design Drafter at Hydroblend International, and Intern at SWYM. Sydney holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boise State University, completed in May 2021.
