Xueqing Xiong

Xueqing Xiong is an experienced scientist currently serving as an Associate Scientist III at J.R. Simplot Company since October 2019. Xueqing's prior experience includes working as an Independent Researcher at the State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry, focusing on the resistance of transgenic American chestnut to blight disease, and as a lab researcher studying superoxide dismutase expression in willow and throat cancer cell research. Xueqing's early research experience includes work at the Shanghai Institute For Organic Chemistry, where the synthesis of P-Ligands was studied, and exposure to various analytical techniques. Xueqing holds a Master of Science in Plant Biotechnology and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Applied Statistics and Biotechnology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and Syracuse University.
