Alan Young

Alan Young is the Chief Executive Officer of Simply Conveyancing, a private equity-backed firm (Livingbridge) and one of the largest property lawyers in the UK. They were part of the management team that floated on AIM in 2015 and are a 3x winner of the British Mortgage Awards’ “Business Leader.” They previously served as Chief Commercial Officer at John Charcol from 2016 to 2018. They led Aventria—the home of fairer property services—as Managing Director from 2018 to 2019, which was acquired by DMGT and renamed Landmark Optimus, and then served as Managing Director and Founder of Landmark Optimus from 2019 to 2022. They were Chief Executive Officer of London & Country Mortgages from 2022 to 2024.
