Scot Clausing

Scot Clausing has extensive work experience as a software engineer and engineering manager. Scot has held various roles in several companies such as SimplyAgree, Elastic, ReCharge Payments, Built Technologies, Emma Inc, Digital Reasoning Systems, The Art Institute of TN, Nashville, DaVita, Rich Applications Consulting, and RDI Marketing Services. Scot'sexperience ranges from working as a Senior Engineer to being a Director of Engineering and includes roles such as Engineering Leadership Consultant, Instructor, Engineering Lead, Principal Engineer, and Senior Engineering Manager. Scot has been involved in developing software applications, building developer tools, APIs, and experiences for search applications with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and semantic search capabilities at scale. Scot has experience managing and leading engineering teams, defining engineering lead roles, mentoring engineering teammates, and increasing team productivity.

Scot Clausing completed their high school education at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy in 2002. Scot then attended the University of Cincinnati from 2002 to 2006 but did not earn a degree or specialize in any field of study. In 2015, Scot received a certification in Mental Health First Aid USA from the National Council for Behavioral Health. In 2017, they obtained their AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification from Kryterion.
