Charles Swartz

Vice President, Technology at SimplyAnalytics

Charles Swartz has had a long and varied career in the technology field. Charles began their career in 1999 as a GIS Researcher for The Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services (CASES), where they conducted research on the relationship between offender residences and neighborhood characteristics, analyzed the locations and characteristics of high offender neighborhoods, and worked with criminal justice agencies to promote computer mapping and the use of exploratory and dynamic spatial analyses of agency data. In 2002, they joined Justice Mapping Center, Inc. as an Associate Director. In 2007, they were appointed Vice President of Technology at SimplyAnalytics.

Charles Swartz obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Geography from McGill University in 1995, after studying there from 1991. Charles then went on to pursue a PhD in Environmental Psychology from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, which they completed in 2010.
