Michael Schmidt

Michael Schmidt is a seasoned technology entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in founding and managing businesses in the cloud and software sectors. Currently serving as the Founder of Simplyblock, Schmidt specializes in high-performance cyberstorage technology for cloud environments. Previously, Schmidt founded scaled.cloud, a cloud service provider managing over 7,000 virtual servers for enterprise customers, and held CIO roles at O'KEY Group and Rive Gauche, overseeing multi-million dollar IT budgets. Early career achievements include significant roles at CA Technologies, Ventum Solutions, and Accenture, with a strong background in product management, software development, and technology strategy. Schmidt holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, a Global Executive MBA from HEC Paris and LSE, and a Master of Science in Computing Science from Technische Universität Wien.
