Christopher Striemer

Vice President of Membrane Development and Advisor (and co-founder) at SiMPore

Christopher Striemer has had diverse work experience in the fields of business development, facilities management, and technology development. Christopher is currently working at AIM Photonics as a Business Development and Facilities Manager, where they focus on increasing the utilization of advanced packaging tools, establishing partnerships, and driving innovation. Prior to this, they worked at SiMPore as the Vice President of Membrane Development and Advisor, playing a crucial role in the company's development. Christopher also has experience at Adarza BioSystems, Inc., where they held various leadership positions including Vice President of Technology and Vice President of Engineering. During their time at Adarza, they led interdisciplinary teams, initiated cost-saving projects, and secured funding for technology development and targeted applications. Additionally, they have worked at the University of Rochester as an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Dermatology and as a Research Associate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Christopher Striemer holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University at Buffalo, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. Christopher then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field at the University of Rochester, from 1997 to 1999. Continuing their education at the University of Rochester, Christopher completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 1999 to 2004.
