Senior Director, Infra & Product Security at Simpplr

Luciano Ferrari has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity, with a strong focus on product security. Luciano currently holds the position of Senior Director, Product Security at Simpplr, a role they have held since January 2024.

Prior to joining Simpplr, Luciano served as the CSO & Product Security Officer at Kaleris from August 2021 to January 2024. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the company's overall security strategy and ensuring the security of its products.

Luciano also worked as a Cyber Security Advisor at Lufsec from September 2020 to August 2021 and as a member of the Cybersecurity Advisory Board at FLEXXON from January 2021 to June 2021.

Before their roles in cybersecurity management, Luciano gained extensive experience in information security, holding positions such as Head Information Security for Americas at Infineon Technologies from April 2017 to September 2020 and Senior Manager Information Security at SC Johnson from May 2015 to April 2017.

Earlier in their career, Luciano served as an Information Security Risk Manager at Kimberly-Clark Corporation from October 2001 to May 2015. Luciano also worked as a Bilingual Telecom Support Specialist at Intelig Telecom from January 2001 to September 2001, a Support Analyst at Credicard from November 2000 to January 2001, and a Support Analyst at UOL from 1998 to 2000.

Luciano holds several certifications in the field of cybersecurity, including CCISO, CISSP, CISM, and CRISC. Luciano also holds an MBA degree.

Luciano Ferrari has a diverse education history. Luciano completed an Executive MBA at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Masters of Computer Network from Faculdades Associadas de São Paulo from 1999 to 2000. In 1993 to 1996, they pursued a degree in Technology on Materials, Process, and Electronic Components at Faculdade de Tecnologia de São Paulo - FATEC-SP. Lastly, they obtained an Electronics Technician degree from Fundação Bradesco from 1990 to 1992.

Luciano Ferrari has also obtained various certifications in the field of cybersecurity. Luciano became a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) from EC-Council in 2022. Luciano also received a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in 2019. In addition, they hold certifications such as CISSP - Certified Information Security Systems Professional from (ISC)2 in 2013 and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) from ISACA. Furthermore, they have completed courses and received certificates in various areas of cybersecurity from reputable institutions such as Black Hat, Coursera, EXIN, and IBM.
