Mark Harness

Mark Harness is the current finance manager at Simpson Associates. Mark has previous experience working as a business accountant and manager. Mark's responsibilities have included management accounting, financial accounting, period-end accounts, prepayments and accruals, overhead analysis, expense reconciliation and reporting, inter-company trading, and VAT. Mark has also been responsible for job costing, cost centers, credit control, budgets, cash flow forecasting, and purchase/sales ledgers.

Mark Harness is a Chartered Certified Accountant who has an Advanced Diploma in Accounting & Business from the ACCA. Mark also has a Level 4 Diploma in Accounting from the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and a BA (Hons) in Administrative Management from Humberside University. Finally, they have a BTEC National Diploma in Business & Finance from Yorkshire Coast College.

Mark Harness reports to Rachel Hillman, Operations Director. They are on a team with Rob Harcourt - Business Development Manager, Nathan Fagan - IT Support Manager, and Will Rathbone - Data Analytics Practice Manager. and Daniel Miller - Finance Assistant reports to Mark Harness.
