Roger Degerman is a seasoned marketing and communications executive with extensive leadership experience in higher education. Currently serving as Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Communications at Simpson College since September 2021, Roger is responsible for enhancing the college's brand and managing strategic messaging, including crisis communication and media relations. Prior to this role, Roger held key positions at Guilford College, where as Vice President of Marketing and Enrollment, Roger achieved significant increases in student enrollment and inquiries, and earned numerous awards for marketing campaigns. Roger also worked at Concordia College as Senior Director for Communications and Marketing, leading branding strategies, and began a career in media as Sports Director at KXJB-TV. Roger holds a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Concordia College.
