John leads the commercial litigation team in the firm's Wellington office and is a member of the firm's Board of management. He is commercial litigation and dispute resolution specialist with over 25 years of experience.

John acts on major commercial and public law litigation and arbitrations. He also regularly assists clients to resolve disputes through mediation and negotiated settlements.

John has expertise in commercial property disputes, insurance, judicial review, and securities enforcement litigation, including receiverships and liquidations. He also advises on strategy and risk for regulatory compliance.
