Winston Morton

Winston Morton has a long and varied career in the technology industry. Winston began their career in 1997 as a Solution Architect for Nova Scotia Power. In 2000, they moved to Marconi Communications as a Senior System Engineer, where they were responsible for designing and implementing large-scale ATM/MPLS/IP networks. In 2001, they became the Vice President of Technology for Thor Solutions, a security solutions provider. In 2003, they joined National Privacy Solutions Inc as a Board Member. In 2007, they joined Allstream as a Technical Sales Team Lead, responsible for positioning a broad range of technology solutions to enterprise customers. In 2011, they became the Vice President of Technology for LinkBermuda, an international telecommunications service provider. In 2015, they were appointed Director of Cloud Strategy for Bulletproof Solutions. In 2017, they joined MOBIA Technology Innovations as Vice President of Managed Services and Halifax Partnership as a Member of the Board of Directors. Most recently, in 2018, Winston became the Chief Technology Officer of SimpTek Technologies.

Winston Morton attended the University of New Brunswick from 1991 to 1995, where they earned an Engineering degree in Electrical.
