Jaka Špeh

Jaka Špeh is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in CAD software development and engineering. Currently serving as CAD Team Lead at SimScale since January 2018 and previously as CAD Software Developer, Jaka has contributed significantly to the CAD stack and meshing development, utilizing Parasolid technology. As the founder of Consulting Jaka Špeh s.p., Jaka assists engineering companies in integrating CAD software into their workflows. Past roles include software engineer for CAD systems at MTU Aero Engines, where performance improvements in visualization software were achieved, and a PhD student at Johannes Kepler University, focusing on computer-aided geometric design and isogeometric analysis. Jaka's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences and a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Ljubljana.
