Matt Winters

Matt Winters is a Senior Cybersecurity Threat Hunting Engineer at SimSpace, where they utilize over a decade of IT operations experience. Previously, Matt held the position of Lead Network Threat Hunter with the United States Air Force from 2021 to 2025, combining strategic leadership with cybersecurity expertise. They have also served as a Cyber Warfare Operator and Senior Cyber Warfare Training Manager while further honing their skills in threat management and incident response. Currently, Matt is pursuing a degree in Business Administration and Management at the Community College of the Air Force, building on their previous studies in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security from Western Governors University.
