Ulas Sevim has a diverse work experience across various companies and industries. Ulas began their career at Intel Corporation, where they served as a Q&R Engineer and Operations Manager, implementing a Quality Management System and leading a team to improve efficiency and output quality. Ulas then worked at Brunk Industries, Inc. as a Quality Metrology Engineer and Supervisor, ensuring compliance to customer and regulatory specifications for precision manufacturing components. Sevim also held the position of Senior Quality Reliability Engineer & Lab Manager at Master Lock Company, where they developed a Q&R Lab for testing and measuring security product design and manufacturing. After that, they worked as a Quality-Reliability Lab Lead at Milwaukee Tool, providing leadership and training to a team supporting quality metrology and reliability analysis. Sevim also gained experience as a Sr. Quality Engineer at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, establishing new product/process qualification methods and conducting cross-functional reviews for compliance with ISO standards. Ulas then served as a Quality Operations Manager at RB, ensuring product quality through control plans and change control implementation. Sevim was also an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, teaching Lean Six Sigma, Quality, and Process Improvement. Currently, they are the Vice President of Quality at SIMTEC Silicone Parts, LLC, where they develop and oversees all quality engineering functions and strategizes to transform the company into a data-driven organization.

Ulas Sevim pursued their education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. From 1997 to 2001, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering. Following that, they continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering, completing the program from 2001 to 2003.
