Andy Edwards

Andy Edwards has worked as the Chief Research Scientist at Simula Research Laboratory since October 2021. Before that, they were an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at UC Davis Health from February 2019 to August 2021. From February 2016 to January 2019, they served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Oslo. Prior to that, at Simula Research Laboratory, they held the positions of Director of the SUURPh doctoral programme in computational biology and medicine from January 2015 to January 2019, and Senior Research Scientist from November 2013 to January 2019.

Andy Edwards received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Integrative Physiology from the same university from 2003 to 2005. In 2016, Andy attended The Wharton School and completed a program called The Leadership Edge, focusing on Organizational Leadership.
