Badr Ghorbal is a researcher at Simula Research Laboratory working on a project funded by Statoil AS to develop a geodynamic model. Prior to this, Badr worked at the University of Kansas focusing on tectonic and geochronology research. Badr also obtained a Ph.D from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, studying the thermotectonic evolution of Morocco. Badr holds a Master's degree in Geology/Earth Science from IFP - Université Pierre et Marie Curie and a Bachelor's degree from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
