Eirik Valseth

Eirik Valseth is currently working as an Associate Professor of Scientific Computing at NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences and as an Adjunct Senior Research Scientist at Simula Research Laboratory. Eirik has a background in Mechanical Engineering, with a Ph.D. focusing on Computational Mechanics and Applied Mathematics. Prior to their current positions, Eirik held various roles including Postdoctoral Researcher at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and Nuclear Reactor Operator at IFE. Eirik also has experience as a Teaching Assistant and Støttekontakt at Halden kommune, and served as a Grensejeger in the Norwegian Armed Forces.
