Giulia Monopoli has a strong academic background in mathematics, with a Master's degree in Mathematics, Modelling and Simulation for Biomedical Applications from Università di Trento, awarded with honors. Currently a PhD student at Simula Research Laboratory, Giulia plans to engage in research at UC San Diego's Cardiac Mechanics Research Group in the near future. Previous experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at Università di Trento and an internship at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, where a novel method for FFR prediction was developed. Giulia also has a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia and participated in a summer school focused on Computational Physiology at UC San Diego.
