Jostein Jensen

Jostein Jensen serves as the Director of Cybersecurity at Simula Research Laboratory since April 2025, focusing on addressing current security threats and pioneering solutions for emerging technologies. Prior to this, Jostein held the position of Director of Security and CISO at Norsk Helsenett SF from October 2018 to March 2025, leading critical security initiatives for the health sector in Norway. Jostein's extensive experience includes roles as Vice President of Cybersecurity at Kongsberg Digital, CISO at Lånekassen, researcher and PhD candidate at NTNU, and research scientist at SINTEF ICT, contributing over 20 scientific papers to the field. Jostein's educational qualifications encompass a PhD in Information Security from NTNU, an Executive MBA from BI Norwegian Business School, and studies in Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the University of California, Berkeley.
