Lena Korsnes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in administrative roles within academic and research institutions. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Simula Research Laboratory since August 2022, Lena Korsnes focuses on developing HR processes and providing administrative support to researchers and staff. Prior positions include Senior Adviser and Adviser at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway, where responsibilities encompassed outreach, research project support, and management of the EU-funded DocEnhance project. Lena Korsnes also held a Senior Executive Officer role at the University of Oslo, managing doctoral education and coordinating study programs. In addition to professional roles, Lena Korsnes has served as a Board Member for Harstadregionens Næringsforening and has a strong educational background, holding a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in organization and leadership from UiT.
