Simula Research Laboratory
Mohit Kumar Ahuja is a researcher at Simula Research Laboratory since September 2018, focusing on the development and testing of Artificial Intelligence algorithms for collaborative Industrial Robots. Ahuja completed a Master Thesis Internship in Deep Learning at I3S/CNRS, where the research concentrated on vision-based control using Deep Learning for UAVs. Prior to this, Ahuja interned at LIRMM, working on the modelization and localization of flexible endoscopes using machine learning. As a co-founder of Anand Robotix, Ahuja provided education in robotics and related fields and managed industrial embedded projects. Earlier professional experience includes working as an Operations Engineer at Ericsson and a Research Engineer at ROBOSAPIENS TECHNOLOGIES Pvt. Ltd. Ahuja holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Oslo and has obtained an Erasmus Masters in Vision and Robotics from Université de Bourgogne, along with a Bachelor of Engineering and a diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Rayat Institute and Rayat Polytechnic College, respectively.

Simula Research Laboratory's main objective is to create knowledge about fundamental scientific challenges that are of genuine value for society. Important research with long-term impact in the fields of networks and distributed systems, scientific computing and software engineering constitutes the basis of Simula. The strong focus on basic research is combined with both teaching of postgraduate students and development of commercial applications.
