Ray Richardson

Chief Technology Officer at Simularity

Ray Richardson has worked for a variety of companies since 1993. Ray began their career as a Software Engineer for Consulting Engineering Services. Ray then moved on to ParTech as a Software Engineer in 1998. In 2000, they joined Berkeley Software Design, Inc (BSDi) as a Member of Technical Staff. In 2001, they joined Wind River as a Principal Technologist, Senior Member of Technical Staff, Member of Technical Staff, and Senior Engineer. In 2012, they were promoted to Senior Principal Technologist and Fellow and Co CTO. Finally, in 2011, they joined Simularity as Chief Technology Officer. At Simularity, they were the Principal Designer of AI products and the Principal Inventor and Designer of the AI-ADS product. At Wind River, they were responsible for the design and implementation of core components of the VxWorks embedded operating system, POSIX process support, and advanced multicore capabilities.

Ray Richardson attended the University of West Florida from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained a BS in Computer Science. Ray also attended the Florida Institute For Human and Machine Cognition at the University of West Florida from 1991 to 1994, but did not obtain a degree.
