Michael Lawless

Michael Lawless has a diverse work experience in the field of computational chemistry. Michael started their career as a Customer Support Specialist at Tripos in 1991. Michael then went on to work as a Molecular Design Senior Team Leader at Tripos and Tripos Discovery Research from 2003 to 2007. In 2007, they became a Senior Team Leader Molecular Design at Exelgen. Michael joined ChemVentures, Inc. as a Computational Chemist in 2008 and later moved to ChemModeling, LLC in 2009 for the same role. Currently, they are working at Simulations Plus, Inc. where they have held various positions including Senior Principal Scientist and Business Development Manager, Cheminformatics Solutions. Michael'swork at Simulations Plus, Inc. includes leading scientific projects, managing collaborations, and developing predictive models for software.

Michael Lawless earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Missouri State University, from 1979 to 1983. Michael then pursued a Ph.D./Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Chemistry at the University of Arkansas from 1984 to 1988.
