Salil Patel is a startup developer and scientist. As cofounder, he drives Simulicity’s strategy, to support the shared passion for investment, design thinking, and data-driven decision making. He brings a 25-year record of leading teams to create and scale emerging technologies – across domains including astrophysics, machine learning, sensors/imaging, robotics, tissue engineering, genetics, cybersecurity, and quantitative finance. Salil is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, with training in Radiology and Radiation Oncology. He is a Fulbright Scholar, Rice University Fellow, recipient of the NASA Outstanding Science Award, and an author of 20 peer-reviewed publications.
