Michael Showalter

Michael Showalter is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and mechanical engineering. As Lead Engineer at SimuTech Group since April 2011, Michael specializes in engineering analysis for commercial and government sectors using ANSYS FLUENT and CFX. Previous roles include Aerodynamist at Miltec, where external aerodynamic analysis for missiles was conducted, and Engineering Specialist at KT Engineering, managing a $3M contract for robotic welding systems. Michael has also served as Technical Sales Manager at CD-adapco and Group Leader in Technical Marketing at CFD Research Corporation, achieving significant growth in software sales. Early career experience includes roles at ESAB Welding and Cutting, where Michael developed innovations in plasma cutting technology, resulting in multiple patents and published research.
