Stephen Lin

Stephen Lin is an accomplished Photonics Engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently working at SimuTech Group as a key member since June 2022. Prior to this role, Stephen served as a Project Manager at the Stewart Blusson Quantum Matter Institute, managing multimillion-dollar research projects in collaboration with industry partners, and training a team of researchers in standard software and testing hardware. Earlier experience includes a position at UBC Engineering, Applied Science, as a Masters Student in Silicon Photonics, focusing on computational lithography for device design, and as a Photonics Engineer at SiEPIC Kits, where responsibilities included device simulation and fabrication coordination. Stephen holds a Master's degree in Silicon Photonics from The University of British Columbia, complemented by a Bachelor of Applied Science in Material Engineering from the same institution.
