SimUX Defence was founded in 2025 in Cambridge by two young entrepreneurs, after an idea that first took shape during a series of pub conversations.
What started as informal discussions soon became a clear vision: complex, mission-critical systems need rigorous simulation and validation before they face real-world conditions.

SimUX Defence was founded to help defence and security systems reach the field with confidence.
We operate at the intersection of simulation, human–machine interaction and system validation—where decisions must be informed, repeatable and defensible.

We support defence, maritime, aerospace and automotive organisations by designing, testing and validating complex interfaces through advanced VR/AR tools, digital twins and mission-focused simulator environments.
Our capabilities include:
• HMI / UX design for operational systems
• Full-stack simulator development (automotive, maritime, defence)
• Virtual prototyping and ergonomic testing
• VR/AR-based training & evaluation systems
• User performance analytics and data-driven interface optimisation
• Bespoke R&D for defence and defence-adjacent industries
SimUX Defence blends engineering expertise, immersive technologies and human-centred design to deliver systems that improve effectiveness, readiness and decision-making in critical environments.
