Mike Buttaro

Mike Buttaro is an experienced Systems and Software Engineer with a strong background in managing software development teams and delivering mission-critical applications. Currently at SimVentions since April 2010, Mike provides engineering expertise to the US Navy through the Naval Surface Warfare Center. Previously, as a Senior Technical Manager at General Dynamics AIS from 2003 to April 2010, Mike led a talented software development team noted for consistently delivering high-quality applications on time and under budget. Early career roles included Software Development Manager at Digital System Resources, Engineer at Lockheed Martin, and Software Engineer at IBM. Mike holds a Master’s degree in Software Systems Engineering from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.
