Mike Hoffman

Mike Hoffman, PMP, is an experienced systems engineer with a strong background in developing and managing systems for the Department of Defense (DoD) and other agencies. Currently serving as the Lead Systems Engineer at SimVentions since April 2023, Mike specializes in designing software within RedHawk/RedHat/CentOS environments using advanced engineering principles and programming languages such as C++ and CMake. Previous roles include Lead Systems Engineer at Parsons Corporation, where responsibility included the complete lifecycle of weapons systems development, and Principal Systems Engineer at EOIR Technologies. Mike's career also includes significant positions such as Program Manager/Engineer at AECOM, Director of Systems Engineering at SENTEL Corp, and Senior Systems Engineer at Synertech Associates, where contributions included leading high-profile projects for the US Navy. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Mary Washington and has been involved in various capacities in the systems engineering field since the early 1980s.
