Randy Walker is the Chief Engineer at SimVentions. Randy has over 25 years of experience in the engineering field and has been with SimVentions for over six years. Prior to joining SimVentions, Randy was the Technical Director at Vencore Inc. (formerly Qinetiq North America SSG) from April 2008 to March 2015. In this role, they provided technical direction and systems engineering leadership to a Division of 250+ employees across 12 programs. Randy also assisted customers with process and policy definition in the areas of Systems Engineering, Systems of Systems (SoS) Engineering, complex system integration, certification, and architecture development; authored 60-page White Paper and decision-support briefings on SoS management and engineering. Additionally, Randy developed a six-stage analysis and development methodology for automating processes; employed the methodology on over 10 projects. Randy also served as technical lead on a Knowledge Management software development project for Marine Corps customer that combined MS SharePoint 2010, web-services, and custom-coded (e.g., Java Script, JQuery, HTML) solutions; employed Agile project methodologies and tools. Furthermore, they performed as ‘war room’ (cross-functional analysis team) lead for US Army (USA)-US Marine Corps (USMC) Command and Control Situational Awareness (C2SA) Convergence and Marine Air Command and Control. Lastly, they supported business development activities as technical lead and principal author on proposals.

Randy Walker has a Ph.D. in Engineering Management & Systems Engineering from Old Dominion University, a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School. Randy also has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Diego State University. Randy is certified as a Scrum Master by the Scrum Alliance.

Randy Walker reports to Larry Root, CEO. They are on a team with Megan Shepherd - COO, Joe Caliri - President, and Paul Gatanis - CIO.
