Michael Doyle has over 20 years of work experience in the electrical engineering and technical services field. From 1997 to 1999, they worked as an Installation and Lighting Technician at GU1 Communications, where they installed lighting, sound and AV into night clubs and conferencing centers. From 1999 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Technician at NEC Group, where they planned and delivered technical services such as lighting, sound and audio/visual as per client and event requirements. In 2010, they worked as an Independent Contractor at Merlin Entertainments London Eye, where they were responsible for design consultation and the installation of some atmospheric mood lighting in the Amazonian themed area of the London Aquarium. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Self Employed CIS Electrical Contractor at both Asterisk and Carillion, where they provided break down and reactive cover to electrical, failures or emergencies both domestic and commercial. In 2011, they also ran their own business, Mickey Doyle Electrical Services, as an Owner, providing domestic and commercial electrician services. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at Aston Labs - Specsavers, providing reactive and planned maintenance to all factory equipment across all departments. Finally, from 2019 to present, they have been a Senior Site Services Engineer at Simworx.

Michael Doyle has a varied educational background. In 2016, they earned a Level Three Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671: June 2008 (2015) from Birmingham Electrical Training. In 2011, they earned a City and Guilds in Electrician from Birmingham Electrical Training. Finally, from 1993 to 1996, they earned an Advanced Diploma in Technical Theatre and Stage Management from the Birmingham School of Speech and Drama.
