James Miller

James Miller, EdD, currently serves as a Scenario Production & Design Specialist at SimX, having previously held the position of CEO at VirtuEd, LLC, and Director of Innovative Teaching at Midland University. With a focus on integrating digital age learning technologies in higher education, James's interests encompass virtual and augmented reality, experiential learning, and design thinking. As a Project Leader at Seeds of Empowerment, collaboration with Stanford University and XRI Global involved developing mobile educational solutions for underserved populations, with research conducted in Tanzania. James also has extensive experience in product development as a Project Manager at VTech Electronics, working on various educational games and e-Books. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Education Technology from Johns Hopkins University and a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
