Karthik Sarma, PhD

Karthik Sarma, PhD is the current Chief Technology Officer at SimX. Prior to this, they were with the California Medical Association as a member of their Board of Trustees from January 2014 to December 2014. Karthik also worked with UCLA Health and SimX in the past. From January 2012 to June 2019, they were a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Medical Association where they were the youngest member. Karthik oversaw the $300 million organization and regularly acted as a spokesperson for the Association. Some of their notable accomplishments include leading the AMA response to a number of critical health policy issues and expanding the organization's presence in the healthcare technology ecosystem through its innovation arm, Health2047.
