Deepak Poonia is a seasoned software architect with extensive experience in leading software development projects. Currently serving as Principal Software Architect at Sinch since December 2020, Deepak Poonia provides technical and functional direction to over 30 team members in the development of a conversation messaging platform for enterprises. Previously, Deepak Poonia held the role of Chief Software Architect at Sinch, where responsibilities included guiding a team towards the successful implementation of an SMS messaging platform. Before joining Sinch, Deepak Poonia worked as a Staff Engineer at Edelman Financial Engines, contributing to the Advisor Pro platform, and successfully led efforts to transform monolithic backend systems into micro-services.
