Hadrien Van Lierde is currently serving as the AI Tech Lead at Sinch since July 2023, previously holding the position of Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Chatlayer by Sinch from September 2021 to July 2023. Prior experiences include working as an AI algorithm engineer at WeBank, a leading digital bank in China, from October 2019 to August 2021, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Control Theory and Machine Learning at City University of Hong Kong between January 2016 and October 2019. Hadrien has also contributed as an Independent Researcher in Computational Linguistics at the National Research Council Canada for a brief period in late 2018 and participated in the BCG Strategy Cup competition in 2015. Hadrien's academic qualifications include a PhD in Electronic Engineering from City University of Hong Kong, alongside a Master's degree in Mathematical Engineering from Université catholique de Louvain and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the same institution.
