John Gumm is a seasoned broadcast meteorologist with over twenty-five years of on-air television experience, currently serving as the Chief Meteorologist at WKRC-TV in Cincinnati, Ohio. With a proven track record as a ratings leader, John has worked in markets recognized as number one both locally and nationally. They have extensive expertise in broadcast meteorology, severe weather coverage, and technology, and are also an entrepreneur in mobile software development. John holds the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation from the American Meteorological Society and has been involved in public relations, public speaking, and social media marketing throughout their career. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Valparaiso University.
