Mike Simon

Mike Simon is a seasoned technology expert with extensive experience in the broadcast and telecommunications industries. Currently serving as Director of Advanced Technology at both Sinclair Broadcast Group and ONE Media 3.0 LLC since 2012 and 2019 respectively, Simon has a proven track record in wireless systems technology and next-generation network designs. Previous roles include Manager of Advanced Technology at Rohde & Schwarz, where Simon played a crucial role in standard development organizations and product requirements for innovative technologies. With earlier positions as Lead DTV Application Engineer at Harris Corporation and Chief Technical Operator at WTAE-TV Hearst Broadcasting, Simon has developed deep expertise in ATSC standards, maintenance engineering, and management. Simon holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications from the University of Pittsburgh, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Point Park University, and an Associate of Science in Applied Electronic Technology from Gateway Technical Institute.
