John Yang

John Yang has a wide range of work experience in various industries. John started their career as a Maintenance Supervisor/Shift Manager at DSM in 1990 and later worked as an Operation Engineer/Supervisor at Praxair from 1997 to 2002. John then became a Production/Engineering Manager at Rhodia from 2002 to 2004.

John worked at Wacker Chemie from 2004 to 2013, first as a Project/Plant Manager and then as a Site Manager. During their time there, they built new plants, closed and relocated one plant, and ensured safety, quality, and cost efficiency. John also managed the interface between global supply chains and regional business.

In 2014, John joined Arkema China as a Regional Manufacturing Director for a short period of time.

From 2015 to 2017, John served as the Managing Director at Mehler Engineered Products GmbH, where they led the China team and was responsible for various functions including sales, marketing, finance, HR, R&D, supply chain, and operations.

John's most recent role is as a Sr. Management Consultant at The Sinclair Group, starting in 2018.

John Yang obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Industry Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, which they attended from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in International Trading from Nanjing University, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. John'seducation history also includes an Associate's Degree in Fine Chemical Engineering from Nanjing College of Chemical Technology, which they completed from 1988 to 1990.

In addition to their academic degrees, John Yang has also obtained a certification as a six sigma black belt from Steinbeis-Hochschule Berlin Institute in 2007. The specific month of obtaining this certification is not provided.
