Jayne Burrell

Jayne Burrell is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various senior legal roles. Currently serving as Chief Legal Officer at Sinclair since January 2015, Jayne oversees a diverse team managing Legal, Compliance, HR, Regulatory, Quality, ESG strategy, Communications, and IT across 14 countries, along with company secretarial duties for the Group Board. Prior to this role, Jayne held key positions at Iceland Foods from 2003 to 2014, including Group General Counsel and Company Secretary, where significant contributions included managing major acquisitions, divestitures, and the company's legal affairs. Jayne's career also encompasses positions as Company Secretary for DBC Foodservice Ltd and Woodward Foodservice, a Commercial Solicitor at BNFL, and a Solicitor with Eversheds Sutherland. Academically, Jayne holds an LLB (Hons) from Lancaster University, a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Bristol, and a Diploma in Legal Practice from Chester College of Law.
