The Sing Up Foundation is a UK charity on a mission to improve children's and young people's mental health and wellbeing through singing.

With 50% of mental health problems established by age 14 and 75% by age 24, early intervention matters. The evidence is clear — singing works. Extensive research supports its physiological, social, psychological and behavioural benefits, particularly group singing.

We translate that research into action — producing resources, training and guidance for teachers, music practitioners, mental health professionals and policymakers. Our work sits at the intersection of music education, mental health and evidence-based practice.
