Jo Bailes

Jo Bailes is the Chief Executive Officer at Singita. They previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Singita in 2022 and have held roles including Director of Operations. Earlier in their career, they were Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at Jonsson Workwear from 2012 to 2014. They were Director of Food and Beverage at Shangri-La Group from 2018 to 2019 and also served as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. Their education includes a National Senior Certificate from Bishops Diocesan College (2002–2006), a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Sociology from the University of Cape Town (2007–2009), Vega School Honours in Brand Leadership (2010), and a Post Graduate in Entrepreneurship from the University of Cape Town (2011).
