Daniel McCarthy

Daniel McCarthy is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial planning and analysis. Currently serving as the Head of Unit for Resolution Planning & Decisions at the Single Resolution Board since November 2015, McCarthy previously held the role of Bank Expert at the European Banking Authority and led the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Supervision Team at the Central Bank of Ireland. Earlier positions include Director of Finance for Commercial & Corporate Divisions at Bank of Scotland (Ireland) Ltd and Senior Consultant in Corporate Finance & Strategy at PricewaterhouseCoopers. McCarthy holds an ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, a Master of Business Studies from University College Dublin, and a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Galway.
