Single Resolution Board
Ewa Klima has extensive experience in legal and policy advisory roles within notable institutions. Currently, Ewa serves as the Head of SRB Secretariat and Deputy General Counsel at the Single Resolution Board, where responsibilities include coordinating Legal Services and providing legal advice to the Board. Previously, Ewa worked as a Senior Legal Advisor to the Board and held positions at the European Commission, where legal analysis pertained to EU supervisory frameworks, and the National Bank of Poland, focusing on legal coordination with the European System of Central Banks. Ewa's earlier roles include positions at the European Central Bank, contributing to financial law and market infrastructure, as well as a legal trainee position in a private law firm. Ewa holds a Master of Laws in International Business Law from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, a Diploma in Private American Law from The Catholic University of America, and a Master's degree in Law and Administration from Jagiellonian University.

Single Resolution Board
The Single Resolution Board (SRB) is the resolution authority within the European Banking Union and is a key element of the newly created Banking Union and its Single Resolution Mechanism (SRM). It works in close cooperation in particular with the national resolution authorities of participating Member States, the European Commission and the European Central Bank. Its mission is to ensure an orderly resolution of failing banks with minimum impact on the real economy and public finances of the participating Member States and beyond. https://srb.europa.eu/
