Bob Kain

Bob Kain is the Founder and Board Chairman of Mesa Rim Climbing Centers and a Strategic Advisor with experience in various innovative organizations, including Prisma, Kaptain Outside App, and Single Technologies. They previously served as the Chief Engineering Officer at Illumina, where they managed engineering and technology strategy, significantly contributing to the company's remarkable growth and pioneering the HiSeq instrument, which achieved the $1,000 genome milestone. Bob has also held the role of CEO at LunaPBC, the creator of LunaDNA, focusing on community-driven health and DNA data. They earned a Master's in Business Administration from Saint Mary's College of California and a Bachelor's in Physics and Mathematics from San Diego State University.
