Christopher Whitehead

Christopher Whitehead has worked in the software engineering field since 2017. Christopher began as a Software Engineer Intern at Atmoph Inc. and then took on the role of Full Stack Software Engineer (Remote/Contract) and Full Stack Software Engineer. During their time at Atmoph Inc., they led the creation of a gesture-control feature, overhauled the store page using AngularJS 1.5 components, coded server-side APIs for the Rails backend, created in-house productivity tools, and prototyped unreleased features. Christopher also participated in code reviews for VCS pull requests and sped up the internal file upload process. In 2019, Christopher moved to the Center for NYC Neighborhoods as a Full Stack Developer. In 2022, they began their current role as Senior Software Engineer at SingleOps.

Christopher Whitehead obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from The University of Georgia between 2005 and 2010. During their time at The University of Georgia, they also participated in an exchange program at Kwansei Gakuin University for Japanese Language and Literature from 2008 to 2009. Additionally, they obtained a Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) certification from N1 in January 2015.
