Mark Lacas

CEO, Systems Architect, Principle iOS Developer, Founder/CTO at Singlestep

Mark Lacas has a diverse range of work experience spanning several decades. Mark is currently the owner of Puget Sound Works, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, Mark was the CEO, Systems Architect, and Principal iOS Developer at Singlestep, a role they held from October 2017.

Mark also worked as a UX/UI Consultant to Pensando Systems at Asquare, Inc. from March 2022 to April 2023. Before that, they served as a Senior iOS Architect/Developer at AIM Consulting Group from June 2020 to June 2021.

From 2012 to 2019, Mark was the CEO, Systems Architect, and iOS Developer at MediaFolio. Mark founded the company and was responsible for architecture, iOS development, and mobile apps.

Earlier in their career, Mark held leadership positions at Dataprism, Singlestep Technologies, Lone Wolf Technologies, FFT, Inc., and Northrop Corporation. In these roles, they served as a CEO, Founder, Systems Architect, and Engineer, with a focus on software development, systems architecture, and electrical engineering.

Throughout their career, Mark has contributed to various projects and industries, including mobile app development, IoT integrations, SaaS platforms, and secure content distribution. Mark has worked with notable clients such as the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, and the Department of Justice, among others.

Mark Lacas attended Purdue University from 1977 to 1979. During their time at the university, they focused on studying Electrical Engineering/Computer Science. However, it appears that they were hired away from school before completing their degree. Apart from their formal education, Mark Lacas obtained an Extra - Amateur Radio (Ham) License with the call sign K7MLX from the Federal Communications Commission in December 2021.
